Touristic Sites

In the city centre it is possible to visit many touristic sites, such as “Torre dos Clérigos”, “Palácio da Bolsa”, “Sé Catedral”, the Town Hall, S. Bento Station, the Churches of “Misericórdia”, “Carmo” and “Carmelitas” as well as the Rectory of the University.

Still within the perimeter of the city centre, the walking route through the “Rua das Flores” is a “must see” leading the visitors to one of the oldest parts of the city, with particular emphasis to the “Ribeira” area along the Douro River.
